Composing

“We, Brazilians are a very mixed people. We are mixing about ethnicity, religion, in cultural events, behaviors... This mixing has it expression in our arts. Many people say we are such a heart nation. Maybe that’s why the rhythm are so present in half of our king of songs. It such we often reflect the sound of our hearts in our music. I often get empty my mind and permit myself to fly free, around my feelings, making such a connection to deep inside of me. My soul. I mean, I only think about what I wish to express … Then, naturally the right musical harmony to each feeling born.

In my opinion, when each one “define” any specific musical line to go, may lose a little the free aspect of the music; The free spirit of it. The transcendent soul of music. The main thing to me! I like to feel free to record a romantic slow song today, tomorrow if I wish, to compose such a lyrics rock or MPB, or mixing all, or even compose something that don’t seems like any known kind of song, what often happen about me rsrsr. This way, being ourselves. Being originals, I believe we may contribute better to divulgation of real diversity of Brazilians music… At any way”.
